Heading to Europe on Sept 9th:   - First, a week in London, visiting our dear friend Telly Leung who is winding up his performance in Death Note.- Connecting with Theatre and Learning friends in London, including Nigel Paine.- Next, taking the train up to Hollyhead in Wales for a night and then the ferry boat across to Ireland for the next few months!- Excited for projects with Learnovate, Trinity College and my Learning Meetups with Irish and global colleagues.- Launching a Storywriting Project for college theatre students - with Dan Lauria mentoring their development of one act plays on aging with empathy!

Dolly Parton Broadway Show!

As part of the producing team for the new Broadway show, Dolly, it is with a heavy heart that we mourn the death recently of Dolly Parton.  May her spirit of openness, empathy and connecting live on for the entertainment industry and nation.  Her life story will be coming to Broadway for previews in December and opening in January. Honoring the Names on our Phone ....

As people die, their names stay in the contact list of our phones.

I have about 20 names that have died in the last 2 decades.  Should we delete the names?  That feels strange.  But, each time I see their name it feels awkward.

What if phones allowed you to grey out the name and perhaps add a year they died or other word.  And, you could select if you wanted to see all of the contact names or just the ones that are alive.  Or, allowed you to click on the name and go to a page about them.

"Aging with Empathy!" in Ireland

MASIE Productions is proud to have presented Dan Lauria's play Just Another Day  to Ireland in May 2026 for the "Aging with Empathy" tour.. Starring Dan and Patty McCormack, the play was performed for free in Dublin at the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, in Cork at the MTU School of Music and at the University of Galway and an interview was featured on Ireland AM TV.
