Saratoga Springs has a large variety of national brand hotels as well as bed & breakfasts and inns. We encourage you to visit the  Saratoga Convention and Tourism Bureau website to view the many choices.

Since many organizations require overnight stays at national hotel chains, we have set up corporate rates with a few hotel chains here in Saratoga Springs.

The Courtyard does provide shuttle service within town upon request, so you would be able to take a shuttle to and from the City Center from this location. You would need to let the hotel know in advance if you need this service. Otherwise, the Courtyard is 0.4mi from the City Center, approximately a 9-minute walk.

Ground Transportation


Saratoga Springs is a very walkable and pedestrian friendly city. If you would like to explore anything beyond the unique shops and eateries of downtown Saratoga, you will require a car. Various excursions are easily made a part of your trip whether they are to museums or to neighboring Vermont for the day.

Taxis and Uber/Lyft from Airport to Saratoga Springs:

Most participants take a taxi or Uber/Lyft from the airport to Saratoga Springs.

 

If you plan to stay in downtown Saratoga, you can take an Uber, Lyft or a taxi from the Albany International Airport for approximately $85 each way.

Lyft and Uber can be booked via their app and drivers are stationed near the terminal - once dispatched, they can arrive in 3-5 minutes. Lyft and Uber drivers may drop off passengers in front of the terminal and pick up passengers at the curb outside of baggage claim.

Taxis may pick up and drop off their passengers directly beneath the terminal's protective canopy.

Please note that there may not be many taxis available first thing in the morning at the airport for early arrivers, so please call Advantage Taxi before travelling to be sure a driver will be at the airport if you're on an early flight.

Trains:

Amtrak runs between New York City (NYP) and Albany-Rensselaer (ALB) frequently each day. There are two trains each day that continue north and stop right in Saratoga Springs (SAR).
A taxi from the Albany train station to Saratoga (about 40 minutes) will cost approximately $75 - 85.  https://www.amtrak.com

 

Buses:

Greyhound, Trailways and MegaBus all have service into Saratoga Springs from New York as well as from other nearby cities.

Airport Information:

Albany International Airport (ALB) is the major air center for the Capital Region, Northeastern New York and Western New England.
The Information Center is staffed by representatives of the Albany County Convention and Visitors Bureau and is open Monday-Friday 6AM - 11PM and Sunday from 7AM - 11PM. The Information Center provides paging services, flight information, directions, ground transportation, pamphlets for tourist attractions and hotels.
