An Invitation to Learning & Business Colleagues:

AI & Learning LAB + Briefing
Location: Saratoga Springs, NY USA

May 17 & 18, 2023 – Elliott Masie, Host

In a Nutshell: "Let's spend 2 days exploring how AI, Generative AI, Content Curation AI, Augmented Media and other emerging technologies may change, enhance, extend, replace or disrupt workplace learning."

AI is a provocative and also controversial force in the world of technology, business and education. Elliott Masie has created an interactive and experiential small event to help learning professionals better understand and imagine how learning organizations, business units and learners themselves will evolve learning processes with the rapidly expanding set of AI tools, systems and strategies.

Below is the "mind-map" of the activities, experiments and conversations we will have in Saratoga Springs. The LAB is designed for both colleagues that are brand new to the AI world --- as well as people experienced with AI tools and strategies. We will help each participant use AI to imagine creating, curating, delivering and evolving learning activities. And, since the world of AI is changing on a weekly basis, we will gather by video in June, July and August to track changes in the field as well as your own projects.

Here is Elliott Masie's starting "Mind-Map" for our content and process in the LAB & Briefing. It will expand and be personalized by each participant's interests and organizational context:

We will explore AI & Learning by using a range of current and emerging AI, Chatbot, Generative Engines and Embedded tools and systems from various sources.

The goal of the AI & Learning LAB + Briefing is to provide a deep dive environment for you to explore, experiment, challenge, innovate and discuss how the field of workplace learning and development may be impacted!

The format of the LAB is experiential and interactive. During our 2 days in Saratoga, we will use and probe a range of released and still in “beta” AI tools.
