Elliott Masie is the Chair of The Learning CONSORTIUM, a learning-focused Research and Development collaborative with over 240 global member organizations. He is recognized as one of the leading experts in the field of learning, development and workplace productivity, and as the first analyst to coin the term e-Learning. Over the past 28 years, Elliott has authored over 12 books, worked with over 5,000 organizations and served with three administrations. He runs The MASIE Center’s Learning LAB, conducting vendor-neutral research and experiments on evolving learning technologies, including video, performer support, mobile learning and evolving leadership models. He currently serves on the Board of Visitors for the CIA University and the Board of Trustees for Skidmore College. In addition, he is working with Bono’s ONE Campaign on a new online university for spokespersons on the critical issue of Malaria. |

Jonathan Kayes recently joined The MASIE Center as our Chief Learning Officer, following a twenty-seven year career with the Central Intelligence Agency. While he originally joined the CIA as an operations officer, since 2001, his work has focused primarily on training and education. From 2001-2004, he ran the CIA’s Washington area Advanced Operational Tradecraft School and from 2006-late 2009, he served as the CIA’s first Chief Learning Officer. In that position, he was responsible for crafting and leading a five-year learning strategy, incorporating multiple instructional approaches and new technologies to reach a large, globally-deployed workforce. Jonathan brings several passions to his new job: one is being constantly on the lookout for ways to improve job performance through learning. Another is in being a lifelong learner himself who is always willing to explore what’s new. |
